A well established basketball club, SOUTH BUCKS COMETS run a successful men's team out of Beaconsfield, which play in the highly competitive Wessex League!

 

We also run structured basketball sessions for 8 to 18 year olds in conjunction with Sir William Ramsey and Amersham School. Whatever the skill level, children are encouraged to turn up and enjoy qualified coaching on the rules and fundamentals of basketball, engaging in drills to improve their ability and finishing with organised scrimmage games!

 

In addition to receiving experienced coaching, there are opportunities to join one of Comets Junior teams that play in the 'central venue' Buckinghamshire League at age groups Under 12, Under 14, Under 16 and Under 18.

 

We are a self financing, 'not for profit' basketball club affiliated to England Basketball, whereby our members pay an annual subscription to cover our activities.
